Rennert Summer plus! is created for young international students aged 13-17 years who are looking for more than just an English program.

This exciting experience allows students to supplement their learning by selecting a complementary plus! program in Art & Architecture, Sports, Fashion, Broadway, Film, or Leadership!

Combined with a challenging English program, fabulous activities and excursions, Rennert Summer plus! is the springboard to an unforgettable summer in New York!

  • Small groups with a maximum of 15 students
  • 10 lessons/week of English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
  • 10 lessons/week of one plus! option
  • 1 workshop and 1 exciting field trip per week

Accommodation

Iona College's beautiful campus in New Rochelle is our choice for Rennert's Summer plus! New York headquarters. New Rochelle is just 30 minutes by train from Grand Central Terminal in midtown Manhattan.

Iona College has five residence halls and Rennert Summer plus! residents will be welcomed to its best equipped hall of single-gender suites. Each suite houses a maximum of 10 people and contains two double rooms, two triple rooms, a living room, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms.The program includes full board (Monday – Friday and half board on weekends).

All residence halls are supervised by Rennert Resident Advisors who live on each floor.

Summer plus! students will have access to many facilities on campus including:

    The Rennert Summer plus! activities and excursions use New York as a catalyst for learning and fun. Students will practice their English in different situations, explore this global cultural center, make life-long friendships and experience memorable times.

    All activities, entrances and exits are monitored by Rennert staff 24 hours a day. Safety is very important to us!
