Short-term Filmmaking / English

16 or 20h English + 12h Filmmaking Classes per week

This 4-week, less-intensive filmmaking program allows high-intermediate to advanced level students to study English while they explore the exciting world of filmmaking.

Students will attend English classes 20 hours per week where they will improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Then, Tuesdays through Fridays, 12 hours per week will be spent at the world-renowned New York Film Academy where they will be taught the basics in how to write, direct, shoot and edit a short film project.

At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to screen your film to the students and faculty of New York Film Academy and Rennert.

Most New York Film Academy instructors hold Masters Degrees in Fine Arts and have extensive hands-on experience
